Sunflowers are valuable not only for their kernels, which are used in vegetable oil production, but also for a wide range of by-products of seed processing: meal, cake, sunflower husks. Sunflower seeds can provide at least 45% of excellent-taste food oil, rich in vitamins E, A, D, and K; and some 39% of so-called recyclable waste that can benefit human economic activity.
